In an emergency

If your parrot has eaten something listed as toxic, or is showing symptoms, contact an avian veterinarian or an animal poison service immediately. Do not wait for a reply to an email and do not use this site as a substitute for treatment.

Accuracy

The database is researched and updated on a best-effort basis. Nutritional and toxicological knowledge changes, and individual birds vary. We make no warranty that any entry is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the information.

Use of content

You may quote short excerpts with a link back to the page. Republishing whole pages, or scraping the database to build a competing site, is not permitted.
